No Visa SponsorshipIn this role, the Electronics Design Engineering Intern will contribute to the electrical system prototyping, design, bring-up, and/or validation for proprietary electrical systems within current and next generation of Rivian electric vehicles and accessories.
Responsibilities- Create proof of concept deliverables for next generation circuits
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits to meet Rivian Standards
- Perform circuit simulations and analyses to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Develop custom PCBAs, prototype FW, and/or simple mechanical fixtures
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level.
- Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience with schematic capture and/or layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS).
- Hands on experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, spectrum analyzer)

Pay DisclosureThe salary range for this role is $45.00-51.00 per hour for Palo Alto based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee9s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
