Position DescriptionThe Change Implementation Leader is responsible for the end-to-end (cradle-to-grave) execution of internal engineering and operational change requests within a manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all changes related to parts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing processes are planned, validated, implemented, and sustained with minimal disruption to production, quality, and supply chain performance.
The position serves as the central point of coordination across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and planning teams to deliver timely and compliant change execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering and operational changes from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Review ECRs/ECOs, assess impacts, and coordinate implementation plans and communications.
- Lead impact assessments involving BOMs, inventory, production schedules, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate BOM updates, component phase-in/phase-out activities, and inventory optimization efforts.
- Support process, tooling, equipment, training, trial build, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.
- Track implementation metrics and support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Education & QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, production, or change management.
- Strong knowledge of BOM structures, ERP/MRP systems, and manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
