Full Job Description
As a Electrical Engineer-Staff, you9ll lead large-scale projects that power critical infrastructure while driving innovation in energy systems. You9ll design and optimize electrical solutions that integrate automation, real-time monitoring, and advanced energy storage to improve efficiency and reliability. Collaborating across teams, you9ll anticipate future needs, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will shape strategies that deliver sustainable, cutting-edge power solutions for long-term growth.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
  • Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
  • Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
  • Guides and mentors all as the subject matter expert around technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
  • Manages complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
  • Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned


Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor9s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university and (15) fifteen years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
  • Preferred: Master9s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university
  • Preferred: PE License


Job Requirements:

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Proficient in reviewing arc flash studies, implementing improvements, and applying electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)
  • Preferred: Experience with PLCs
  • Preferred: Project Management experience
  • Preferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
  • Preferred: Proficiency in designing, and implementing, Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
