Position OverviewWoolpert is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Transportation Practice in Ohio (offices in Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus). Project Manager will primarily lead the execution of projects from proposal through detailed design. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with a strong technical background to guide staff through projects. The Project Manager may also serve as a subject matter expert in support of other projects across the country and around the world. There is potential for upward mobility within our rapidly growing Transportation Practice.

What You Will Do:- Lead project teams through the development of preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantification of transportation projects.
- Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage and support internal and client cross-functional teams.
- Leverage existing relationships and new client and consultant relationships in the pursuit of new work.
- Actively participate in professional societies, organizations, and conferences by serving on boards, presenting at luncheons or conferences.
What You Will Bring:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active PE License in Ohio and Texas.
- Ability and willingness to obtain PE licensure in other states through comity.
- 15 or more years of experience in transportation design (strong preference for bridge experience).
- Must be able to travel 5-10% to client sites.
- Knowledge of ODOT Project Development Process, construction documentation & administration and knowledge in state, local municipalities design process is a plus.
- Software Experience Includes: MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer, Finite Element software (examples include LARSA, MIDAS Civil, SAP2000, Staad-Pro, MDX), Merlin-Dash, Bentley OpenBridge Suite, HEC-RAS, and MS Office
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.
- Interest in unique challenges requiring creative solutions.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range
$118,200-$147,800 USD
