Job Description

Provide technical support in the principles, techniques and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), aviation and electronic shipboard systems. These tasks require extensive knowledge in the area of, but not limited to aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, RCM principles and the ability to organize data in a cohesive manner to submit finding for evaluation and action. Provide technical support for the development and management of the non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs and modernization for execution during CVN availabilities. Requires ensuring technical requirements, periodicities and associated configuration are current within each assigned CMP maintenance requirement to include integration of PMS Force Revisions. Examine opportunities to refine the CMP, Retrieve, organize and analyze (e.g.) maintenance, risk, material condition) data of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action.

Assist in development of life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and select components. Data analytics, maintenance, and modernization of Navy ships within a shipyard environment.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering field; 3-5 years' experience; SECRET clearance required.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook. Significant organization skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
