Job title - Engineer-In-Training 1, Transportation Design Location - Chicago, IL Job type - Onsite Requisition ID - 11355 Are you motivated, energetic and ready to learn from the best in the industry? Is your passion for engineering contagious? If this describes you, we are looking for a talented and ambitious Engineer-In-Training. If selected you will gain meaningful engineering experience on highway projects including roadway studies and design, drainage and utility systems, preliminary and final design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, project scheduling, and large, complex highway corridors. What You Will Be Doing: - Collaborate with and learn from experienced Professional Engineers and be mentored by industry leaders in transportation. - Support experienced engineers on transportation projects, including plan development for a comprehensive range of transportation design projects, including horizontal and vertical geometry, cross sections, earthwork modeling, 3D roadway modeling, quantities calculations, construction specifications, and utility coordination. - Enjoy a diverse client base enabling you to follow your passion in engineering. - Contribute to the communities we call home, instilling a sense of pride and sharing in the team's accomplishments.
