Job Description
Applies broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area. Begins to develop technical focus in one or more aspects of their specific area of practice. Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria with reduced oversight. Acquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams. Works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects. Manages own time independently and effectively, maintains control over all current projects/responsibilities. Follows up on all relevant issues.
Responsibilities
Designs a complete project, system, component, or process with reduced
oversight. Prepares complete project documents in their areas of skill. Formulates and solves problems utilizing training and study. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Interacts with limited oversight with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others. Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years' experience w/PE or 6 to 10 years w/o PE
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
