Trane is hiring a Regional Energy Services Operations Leader for the Mid-Atlantic Region to provide leadership for contracting fulfillment processes, operational excellence, and project execution. This leader will be responsible for driving strategic objectives, supporting customer satisfaction, overseeing project development engineering teams, participating in preconstruction activities, and maintaining accountability for overall project financial performance.

What you will do:
  • Lead the administration, implementation, and management of contracting fulfillment processes in support of operational excellence and regional strategic objectives.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout post-order contracting processes and functions required for successful execution and customer satisfaction, including new equipment, existing building services, and building automation.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for operational functions including order validation, order entry, order follow-up, customer inquiries, engineering, submittals, service operations, building automation operations, project management, technical support, warranties, claims, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project development engineering teams to ensure technical alignment, effective execution planning, and successful delivery of customer-focused energy services solutions.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project development engineering teams in the evaluation, design, and development of solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Participate in preconstruction activities, including project reviews, scope development, design coordination, budgeting support, and risk identification to position projects for successful execution.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams during preconstruction to ensure project requirements, constructability, and customer expectations are clearly defined.
  • Support early project planning by aligning engineering resources, project strategy, and execution plans with customer and business objectives.
  • Develop and partner with team leaders and coaches to build the required skills, capabilities, and talent needed to support the region.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accountability for overall project financial results across the region.

What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in facilities or construction preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and support operational and financial performance across a region.
  • Travel within the region is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations, including but not limited to:
    • DUI
    • Hit & Run
    • License Suspension
    • Reckless/Careless Driving
    • Multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
