Location: Project Site Based - Texas

The Opportunity

As part of a critical infrastructure project, the Energy Marshal will lead and enforce Integra's Stored Energy Isolation Program throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures all stored energy isolation activities are executed safely, consistently, and in compliance with local codes and Integra standards. The Energy Marshal acts as the subject matter expert for stored energy isolation, collaborating with engineering, construction, and operations teams to mitigate risks and maintain schedule integrity.

What you will do?
  • Drive compliance with Integra's Stored Energy Isolation Program across all project phases.
  • Establish acceptance criteria for Stored Energy Isolation Plans and verify implementation.
  • Apply local codes and standards as the foundation for project Stored Energy Isolation Practices.
  • Develop and implement centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for all project entities; determine group vs. individual LOTO requirements.
  • Initiate and manage energy isolation activities with continuous progress updates.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to prevent impacts on core operations during isolation activities.
  • Serve as SME for stored energy isolation incident investigations within project scope.
  • Participate in High-Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings and review high-risk SOWs, SOPs, and MOPs to ensure all stored energy sources are identified.
  • Verify personnel qualifications, training, and PPE compliance for all isolation tasks.
  • Produce monthly project reports summarizing stored energy isolation activities and compliance status.
  • Develop controls for all types of stored hazardous energy including but not limited to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical and thermal systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and system redundancies for effective LOTO design.
  • Strong understanding of MEPI hazardous energy control in mission-critical environments.
  • Prior experience in commissioning or energy isolation for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with MEP systems, electrical theory, and critical equipment (switchgear, UPS, generators).
  • Knowledge in the MEP identification and controls of hazardous energy beyond electrical, including but not limited to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical and thermal systems.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and building management systems.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills for coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
  • 5+ years technical engineering experience (project or field-based).
