Job Summary and Responsibilities

Every day you will be managing a wide variety of Endovascular cases, including the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and non-surgical management of disorders affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems, including the brain, spine, spinal cord, and nerves, while also working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Your role demands unparalleled precision, critical decision-making under high pressure, and a profound commitment to improving the lives of patients suffering from intricate neurological disorders.To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endovascular Neurosurgeon with a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.

  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations, review patient medical histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests (such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs) to accurately diagnose conditions that may require surgical intervention.
  • Perform complex and often lengthy operations using advanced techniques like microsurgery, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic assistance. Procedures may include: brain tumor removal and aneurysm repair, repair of traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and implantation of devices such as deep brain stimulators for movement disorders.
  • Develop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans that may include surgical intervention, medication, or non-surgical therapies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Monitor patients' recovery in post-operative or critical care settings, manage any complications, and coordinate with rehabilitation specialists to ensure the best possible long-term outcomes.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
