Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking clinical Endocrinologist(s) to provide inpatient and outpatient care at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH).

The successful candidate(s) will join established endocrinology teams and contribute to high-quality, collaborative care within a large and integrated health system.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Management of inpatient general endocrinology, including diabetes, pituitary, neuroendocrine, and thyroid conditions.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safe clinical and professional practice.
  • Maintain strong collegial link with members of Department of Medicine and with Hospitalists, as well as clinical staff.
  • on-call coverage within the established endocrinology on-call roster.
  • Provide leadership and support for existing initiatives for glycemic control and diabetes education.
  • Participate in appropriate department and staff meetings and committees.
  • Participation in academic activities including CME rounds.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must:
  • Be eligible for FRCPC in Endocrinology & Metabolism.
  • Be eligible for licensure in British Columbia.
  • Additional training beyond fellowship is not required; however, a special area of interest would be an asset, including Osteoporosis and Diabetes in Pregnancy.
