Animal Clinic of Rapid City is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 emergency and critical care team! Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, our progressive eight-doctor hospital provides both comprehensive general practice medicine and around-the-clock emergency services.
We are the only 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital within approximately 250 miles, making our team an essential resource for pets, families, and referring veterinary practices throughout the region.

OUR HOSPITAL Established in 1958, Animal Clinic of Rapid City moved into our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in 2024.
Our modern hospital was designed to support both general practice and emergency veterinary medicine, featuring:
- 10 examination rooms
- 2 dedicated comfort rooms with outdoor access
- 2 fully equipped small animal surgical suites
- Expansive treatment area with an intensive care unit
- Separate canine and feline hospitalization areas
- Large oxygen cage
- Ultrasound and endoscopy capabilities
- Orthopedic surgical services
- Dedicated dental suite
