Emergency Veterinarian

ProSal starting at $160,000+ base (depending on experience)

Production earning potential in excess of $200,000

Full-time Emergency Veterinarian opportunity in Lawrence, MA

Schedule: Rotating up to 14 shifts per month (including 4 weekend shifts per month), with an average 35 hours per week

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
  • Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
  • Have the opportunity to cut a variety of soft-tissue emergency surgical procedures.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.

What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • The ideal candidate will be internship-trained and/or have at least 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine.
  • Experience in soft tissue emergency surgeries is a plus! Additional surgical training is available.
  • Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
