Emergency Medicine Physician
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages arriving to the emergency department.
• Resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.
• Collaborate with physicians of other specialties as well as other members of the emergency department staff.
• Evaluate a wide variety of ailments, sometimes with little to no information.
• Must have the ability to think and act quickly to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor or Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of an ACGME Emergency Medicine Residency Program; Internal Medicine Residency will be considered with previous ED experience
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Appropriate and unrestricted Delaware Licensure
• DEA & CSR
