Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, particularly with DO-178C certification programs.
• Strong expertise in Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTES) and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Deep understanding of safety-critical software development and systems engineering processes.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end avionics software systems from concept through certification.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Lead the development of safety-critical embedded software in compliance with DO-178C.
• Support certification audits and ensure regulatory compliance activities.
• Define and allocate system-level and software requirements.
• Design and implement solutions for RTES and RTOS-based platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and trade studies.
• Drive requirements traceability, verification planning, and validation activities.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance.
