About the roleWe are looking for
Embedded Software Engineers with expertise in developing embedded software applications on production computers to build the next-generation vehicle platform! It is a unique opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems while being part of a fast-moving team.
At Applied Intuition, you will:- Integrate vendor components into a common software framework, ensuring proper low-level communication (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
- Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) applications as required for the product
- Architect and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments, including safety critical systems
- Support hardware bring-up, including low level debug of board and SoC
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring up custom software on new devices, productionize it, and manage the process for maintaining company products
We're looking for someone who has:- BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree graduating by December 2026 or Summer 2027
- Strong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly languages
- Ability to do low-level debugging on hardware to ensure complete system operation
Nice to have:- Proven ability as a self-starter and can quickly become comfortable with new technical tools
- Experience taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with RTOS and middleware applications
- Ability to work with safety critical robotic systems with real time constraints
