K-5 Special Education Teacher in
Arlington, TX, to provide individualized instruction, support diverse learning needs, and help elementary students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Position Overview- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in resource settings through small-group instruction and in-class support.
- Adapt K-5 core curriculum and instructional strategies to meet students' individual learning needs and support academic progress.
- Manage special education caseload responsibilities, including documenting services, monitoring student progress, and maintaining required records.
- Collaborate with the Special Education team and general education teachers to implement instructional supports and promote student success
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification appropriate for grades K-5
- Valid Elementary Generalist or applicable Content-Area Certification
- Experience providing specialized instruction to elementary students, with knowledge of K-5 core subjects, individualized learning strategies, and special education documentation
