This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Titusville FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?We are looking for a highly motivated
Electronics Engineer Associate Manager to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team, supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:• Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Electronics team
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.
• Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
• Manages failure Investigation and material disposition on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level),
• Participate in technical reviews and audits.

• Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a
Top Secret clearance, thus
US Citizenship is required.

Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated experience in managing or designing electronics hardware.
• Demonstrated experience with the production and test of electronics hardware.
• Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues.

• Demonstrated experience managing engineering personnel development and performance assessment.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
