Full Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring for Electromechanical Technicians in Wichita Falls, TX!

Volt is seeking skilled and motivated Electromechanical Technicians to join our manufacturing team. Candidates who are flexible and willing to work both day and night shifts are highly preferred to support cross-training initiatives as we continue to ramp up production.

As an Electromechanical Technician you will:
  • Perform all mechanical and electrical duties required at the highest maintenance level within the plant.
  • Write and modify advanced Allen-Bradley (A/B) PLC logic programs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC circuits and systems.
  • Design and assemble control circuits, control panels, and operator interfaces.
  • Analyze existing machinery and identify opportunities for PLC automation implementation.
  • Troubleshoot, program, and specify motor drives.
  • Maintain and service plant switchgear.
  • Maintain a running log of barrel and screw inventory, changes, history, and throughput.
  • Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics, repairs, and installations throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Recognize when additional technical expertise or support is needed and communicate accordingly.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and company standards.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • Coursework or training in:
    • Fundamentals of PLCs
    • Programming Controllers
    • PLC Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical electronics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with industrial automation systems, motor drives, and electrical controls preferred.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to:
  • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Use hands to handle, feel, and operate tools and equipment.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate effectively through speaking and hearing.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.

Pay Rate: $35-$45 per hour, DOE

Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 2/2/3 Rotation
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
