ABOUT THE TEAM

The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development, from system architecture and circuit design to verification, integration, and flight test, ensuring scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.
ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Electrical Test Engineerto join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will work closely with avionics, system, and software engineers to create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years in electrical testing lab environment
  • Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
  • Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
  • 5+ years hands on experience in using programming of test software (Python, PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
  • 5+ years design experience with Altium or other ECAD


US Salary Range

$129,000-$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
