Electrical & Systems Engineer - Product Development

What You'll Do
- Design and develop electrical systems for premium watersports boats.
- Create innovative solutions that improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer experience.
- Design and release production-ready components using SolidWorks.
- Develop electrical systems including wiring harnesses, power distribution, lighting, pumps, sensors, actuators, and electronic controls.
- Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and suppliers to bring new products from concept through production.
- Build, test, and validate prototypes while supporting on-water product testing.
- Troubleshoot production and field issues while implementing long-term engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with ABYC, USCG, and other applicable marine standards.
- Continuously improve existing products through engineering analysis and customer feedback.
What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering documentation.
- Working knowledge of 12V/24V DC electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for designing exceptional products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the marine, automotive, powersports, RV, or heavy equipment industries.
- Knowledge of CAN Bus, multiplex systems, embedded electronics, or marine electrical standards.
- Experience with prototype development, product validation, and testing.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink or similar experience a plus
