Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in railway, defense, automotive, aerospace, or related fields.
• Strong project management skills for integrating multiple projects and preparing deliverables.
• Proficiency in reading and implementing electrical schematics.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical CAD design (e.g. Catia V5 or NX).
• Familiarity with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan).
• Competence in using PLM, ERP, and ECN systems (e.g. SmarTeam).
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design and integration of electrical enclosures and cabinets.
• Integrate electrical equipment and systems into rail vehicles, ensuring functionality.
• Create electrical function overviews using E-CAD for schematic drawings.
• Draft concepts and specifications along with technical documentation.
• Support departments including Procurement, Production, and Commissioning.
• Incorporate local, federal, and customer requirements into system designs.
• Take ownership of design and documentation for subsystems.
