- Lead field meetings and communicate clearly with the Project Manager, General or Project Superintendent, owner representatives, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Coach foremen and emerging field leaders. Set expectations, provide feedback, and build accountability throughout the electrical team.
- Protect project cost and schedule by monitoring labor productivity, documenting changes and impacts, and supporting the proper tracking of time-and-material work.
What You Bring- Experience leading electrical construction on utility-scale or distributed-generation solar projects, or comparable large electrical or energy projects.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical installation methods, drawings, specifications, testing, and applicable code requirements.
- Demonstrated success leading multiple crews or subcontractors while managing safety, productivity, quality, and schedule.
- The ability to plan work in advance, recognize constraints, make sound field decisions, and escalate issues promptly.
- Strong communication, documentation, coaching, and accountability skills.
- OSHA 30 certification, or the ability to obtain it within a specified period after hire.
- Willingness to travel to assigned projects and work the hours required by project needs.
Experience with medium-voltage systems, solar collection systems, inverters, substations, commissioning, or mechanical installation coordination is preferred.
