Electrical Superintendent

Saber Power Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations for utility, substation, transmission, renewable energy, battery energy storage system (BESS), and industrial construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple project sites, ensuring safe and efficient execution, and delivering projects that meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

Position Summary:

The Electrical Superintendent provides overall field leadership for multiple construction projects by directing superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel. This position ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. The General Superintendent works closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Safety, and Operations to successfully execute projects from mobilization through completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for multiple construction projects and field teams.
  • Supervise and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and client safety requirements.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and logistics to support project execution.
  • Monitor project productivity, quality, and construction progress while identifying and resolving field issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and safety meetings.
  • Review construction schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Support project planning, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Review and approve field reports, timekeeping, equipment usage, and daily documentation.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, performance management, and development of field personnel.
  • Support project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent or field leadership role.
  • Experience managing electrical utility, substation, transmission, renewable energy, industrial, or EPC construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project coordination, and field operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
