DescriptionWe are currently seeking an
Electrical Superintendent to join our team on a Heavy Civil Construction Project in Norfolk, Virginia.-Project: tunnel/ highway/bridge/structure
-Estimated duration of the position: 12 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
-Summary: Oversee day-to-day electrical construction activities, including installation of power distribution systems, conduits, cable trays, cabling, lighting, grounding and other electrical systems, as well as coordination with mechanical, ventilation, fire/life safety, controls and communication systems. The position will work closely with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, other Superintendents, subcontractors, QA/QC, Safety and Commissioning teams to coordinate interfaces between the electrical scope and the other disciplines throughout the project.
-Responsibilities:- Responsible for field supervision, coordination, and execution of electrical works on a Roads, Bridges, and Tunnel Expansion Project, with a particular focus on the tunnel and associated infrastructure.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, foremen and field crews, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable electrical codes, project quality requirements and the construction schedule.
- Planning daily and weekly activities, coordinating manpower, materials and equipment, monitoring field progress and productivity, identifying and resolving construction issues, coordinating inspections and quality controls, reviewing field changes and supporting testing, commissioning and system turnover activities.
-Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours- (with 1 hour for lunch break)

Requirements-Requirements:- A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in tunnels/bridges/highways or heavy civil construction projects.
