Shimmick via our subsidiary, Axia Electric, is seeking a highly talented Electrical Project Manager to be based in Orange County, California.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage assigned projects or project phases, including planning, execution, budget performance, schedule adherence, subcontractor coordination, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery.
Proactively identify project risks, issues, and opportunities; develop and implement effective mitigation strategies and corrective actions to maintain project objectives related to safety, cost, quality, and schedule.
Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams, ensuring alignment among engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project performance, resource utilization, and financial results, providing accurate forecasting, reporting, and recommendations to project leadership.
Mentor Project Engineers and other junior team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance project environment.
Support contract administration, change management, procurement activities, and client relationship management to achieve project and business objectives.
May directly supervise project engineers, project coordinators, and other project support personnel, while providing oversight and direction to multidisciplinary project teams.

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 to $160,000 depending on experience and/or education.
