Electrical Project EngineerOverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated
Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead technical efforts on a variety of engineering projects, working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys both hands-on design work and growing into project leadership responsibilities.
What You'll DoTechnical Leadership & Design- Lead technical tasks and contribute to the successful delivery of electrical engineering projects
- Develop and refine design concepts in collaboration with Project Managers
- Apply advanced engineering principles, standards, and software in project execution
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on technical assignments
Project Deliverables- Prepare and review engineering documents, including:
- Plans, specifications, and reports
- Calculations and design analyses
- Quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Ensure designs meet all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Collaboration & Communication- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
- Participate in client, project, and public meetings (including occasional evenings)
- Support cross-functional teamwork to achieve project goals
Project Execution- Assist with project planning, including scope, schedule, and budget development
- Monitor and communicate changes in scope, schedule, and workload
- Support quality control and ensure deliverables meet firm standards
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong technical design experience and familiarity with industry standards
- Proficiency with engineering and design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate with diverse teams
Work Environment & Physical Requirements- Combination of office and field work, including exposure to outdoor conditions
- Occasional travel and overnight stays required
- Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Work Schedule- Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
- Occasional evening and weekend commitments based on project needs
