The ideal candidate combines strong MCC and motor control expertise with disciplined opportunity management, clear communication, and a commitment to responsive customer service.
What You'll Do
Review customer RFQs, specifications, power one-line diagrams, and short-circuit current rating (SCCR) requirements.
Define MCC product configurations and create proposals using configuration tools, including Power Control Builder.
Document proposal clarifications, assumptions, and exceptions to customer specifications accurately.
Own technical proposal communications with customers and manage expectations throughout pre- and post-sales engagements.
Manage the Configured-to-Order and flow funnel, including opportunity prioritization and 30-60 90 day forecasting.
Coordinate with sales, proposal teams, domain experts, distributor sales teams, and support groups to deliver complete proposal and bid packages.
Identify opportunities to bundle complementary offerings with MCC solutions and convert competitive business.
Promote customer-specific programs and customer configuration tools to expand CTO adoption.
Provide modernization guidance for customers transitioning from legacy products to current technologies.
Support customer demonstrations, customer-facing technical events, and coaching for customers and distributor sales teams.
Provide guidance on proper MCC installation and configuration.
Communicate competitive positioning and pricing considerations for specific MCC opportunities.
Leverage applicable commercial programs with distributor sales teams and customers to drive MCC sales.
Navigate internal support resources, including quality, pricing, customer care, and technical support.
Travel to local customer sites is occasionally required for design and proposal reviews and product technical updates and education.
What You'll Bring
Degree in a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical skills, and relevant experience.
Proficiency with product configuration and proposal tools, including Power Control Builder.
Working knowledge of MCCs, industrial components, low-voltage drives, power one-line diagrams, and SCCR requirements.

Understanding of power and intelligent motor control packaging capabilities.
Knowledge of core MCC technologies, including IntelliCENTER, Secure Connect, ArcShield, Premier Integration, and Automatic Device Configuration.
Familiarity with applicable products, applications, and targeted industries within APR.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer requests, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to forecast opportunities using information from customers, engineering firms, sales teams, and market conditions.
