Responsibilities

Full Job Description
We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Field Superintendent to join our team and support the construction of some of the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest. This includes innovative and impactful work in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Responsibilities
  • Emphasizes a culture of exceptional safety and best-in-class quality to all foremen and craft, including associated trade partners.
  • Responsible for supporting and developing Foremen, including fostering a positive environment for our craft and trade partners to prosper.
  • Provides guidance and support to the Field Engineer regarding survey and layout needs, including providing a schedule as to when such work is required.
  • Assists the Project Superintendent with project schedule development and maintenance, including pull plans, look-ahead schedules, and implementation of the Last Planner System
  • Prepares work plans for critical work and facilitates detailed reviews of such plans with the Field Engineer and Foreman
  • Understands budgeted values for labor, equipment, and consumables; responsible for collaboratively planning work with the Foremen to be commercially successful.
  • Responsible for ensuring efficient crew sizing and makeup is always present and adjusting when necessary.
  • Ensures Foremen are promptly and accurately completing all necessary reports and documentation for their crews (timesheets, daily reports, safety/quality forms, employee evals etc.)
  • Leads coordination and Support for all QC processes for their specific scope or assigned project.
  • Actively participates in daily and weekly project meetings.
  • Promptly reports field issues to the Field Engineer and Project Superintendent
  • Assists this Field Engineer with the development of lift drawings.
  • Develops rapport with owners, clients, engineers, and trade partners while ensuring contractual compliance with all parties.
  • Planning and safe execution of Hazardous energy control, T&E, Working at Heights, and confined space.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
  • Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities, and take initiative.
  • Demonstrated success supporting a team through complex project execution.
  • Experience leading project teams and holding them accountable to project goals.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • STSC trained.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software a huge plus.
  • Positive and teachable attitude.
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills.

Education & Certifications
  • OSHA 30 Certification

  • The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:
    • Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
    • Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
    • Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
