Job Overview:

To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, CATL, through its U.S.-based subsidiary, CATK, is seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer at CATK, you will lead the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and equipment. Your role will encompass ensuring compliance with national and local electrical codes, performing load calculations, and recommending energy-efficient technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead the construction and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, conducting thorough testing to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, promptly resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to perform load calculations, design circuits, and specify equipment for projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies and practices to optimize electrical system performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and maintain professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the management and maintenance of electrical systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM software for electrical system design and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
