About the RoleAs an Electrical Engineer at Droyd, you will focus on low-voltage electrical systems and PCB design for our robotic platforms. You will work on custom boards and supporting electronics for sensing, data, and system integration.

This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
In This Role, You'llBoard & System Design
- Design PCBs and low-voltage electrical systems for robotic hardware
- Support camera, sensor, and data-related electrical integration
- Help define practical electrical architecture for new hardware
Prototyping & Validation
- Prototype, test, debug, and iterate on board designs quickly
- Contribute to bring-up, validation, and reliability improvements for electrical subsystems
Cross-Functional Integration
- Work closely with mechanical and software teams to ensure clean system integration
- Communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and test results clearly

Compensation: $140K-$195K base salary, plus equity
We're Looking For Candidates Who- Have experience designing and shipping PCB-based systems
- Have strong fundamentals in low-voltage electrical engineering
- Are comfortable debugging and validating hardware in the lab
- Work well across mechanical, software, and robotics teams
- Can move quickly in a prototyping-heavy startup environment
Nice to have:
