Full Job Description
As a CBRE Electrical Engineer, you will provide design and engineering support for power, energy, and infrastructure projects.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support troubleshooting of critical electrical systems at the site.
  • Generate and complete investigations of power disturbances, including interfacing with PECO.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings for investigations related to electrical systems.
  • Review and approve technical documents
  • Support LCAM Team with the Life Cycle Management process.
  • Assist client with Global Alerts related to electrical systems.
  • Support the implementation of the reliability program for electrical systems.
  • Maintain constant collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide project/design support for Capital and SWM projects.
  • Ensure new and existing equipment are maintained according to Engineering Standards ES 2002.
  • Manage all project engineering reviews (SWM and Capital).
  • Assist with handover packages for all SWM/Capital projects.
  • Provide technical sign-off and support witness commissioning efforts for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards during project and commissioning execution.
  • Recommend safety improvements and adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to power, energy, and infrastructure projects.
  • Respond quickly to electrical emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical or electrical engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
