Full Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB

At Anduril, our Electrical Engineers are at the forefront of defense technology, crafting high-impact, cutting-edge hardware solutions that redefine innovation. You'll dive into a diverse range of projects, partnering with brilliant minds across disciplines to engineer robust electrical systems and architectures that empower our mission-critical operations. We're seeking talented Electrical Engineering Generalists on several teams, leveraging their broad expertise in PCB/CCA/PCBA design, to contribute to projects that are shaping the future of defense.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead Full-Lifecycle PCB/CCA/PCBA Design: Drive board-level designs from architectural definition, component selection, and schematic capture through layout, fabrication, and integration for mission-critical hardware.
  • Validate & Debug Complex Systems: Perform rigorous simulations (e.g., SI/PI, thermal), hands-on prototyping, and comprehensive debugging of new hardware designs at the board and system level.
  • Develop & Execute Test Strategies: Create and implement detailed test plans, procedures, and fixtures for thorough hardware validation, characterization, and qualification in demanding environments.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM/DFT).
  • Innovate & Improve Hardware Solutions: Continuously research and apply new technologies, refine design processes, and contribute to cutting-edge electrical solutions that redefine defense capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Educational Foundation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of proven, hands-on experience in full-lifecycle hardware design.
  • Deep PCB/CCA/PCBA Design Expertise: Extensive practical experience with modern ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro) for schematic capture, layout, routing, and generating fabrication outputs, especially for complex, high-layer count boards.
  • Core EE Fundamentals & Analysis: Strong understanding of high-speed digital design principles, signal/power integrity, analog, mixed-signal, and power delivery circuits, with experience in relevant simulation and analysis techniques.
  • Hardware Bring-up & Debugging Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on ability to bring up, test, and debug new hardware using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers) down to the component level.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
