Job DescriptionAs an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for assigned project designs, coordination, client communications, and associated construction administration. This opening is within our Religious & Cultural group, focusing on temples for The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on projects and teams while maintaining design consistency throughout
- Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security
- Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements
- Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations
- Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission
- Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals
- Provide training and mentorship to early-career team members
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years of electrical design experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- Revit experience preferred

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
