Responsibilities:
Design PCB-level mixed analog/digital, interface and power electronic circuits to meet product specification and cost requirements
Create bills of materials, schematics, drawings, and engineering change orders using Agile (Product Lifecycle Management tool) to fully document production-ready designs
Perform and document engineering analyses, write test plans and specifications
Conduct performance, design verification and similar tests and author test reports to document results and conclusions
Provide technical input in support of the production of customer-oriented documents like datasheets, user guides and application notes
Help to plan and conduct compliance and reliability testing
Provide engineering support to help resolve production and customer technical issues as needed
Qualifications:
A BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of direct, PCB-level, design experience with µC/FPGA based systems containing mixed signal, interface and power conversion circuitry. Advanced degree is a plus.
Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as an enthusiastic, accountable, and collaborative member of the Motion team
Proficiency with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies and multi-meters
Working knowledge of PCB design tools (OrCAD Capture, PADS or Allegro)
