Position Title: De-Energized Electrical Work (DEEW) Coordinator
Position Description: - Supports the DEEW coordination submission process for the project team. Ensures that PMs, CCs, and Trades are complying to DEEW processes and will work to resolve all issues.
- Manages the de-energized electrical work permitting process and coordinates the electrical downtime of critical factory equipment with construction and factory stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient electrical work
Position Deliverables: - Technical consultant to client PM/CC, GC and Trade Contractors on matters pertaining to DEEW requirements
- Attend daily DEEW Planning and Coordination meeting; Review DEEWs for accuracy, compliance, safety and business impact using technical knowledge.
- Stay apprised of trade DEEW concerns and issues.
- Auditing, coaching and correcting employees/contractors working with the DEEW permits
- Participate in investigations for DEEW-related safety and ITP incidences. Stop all risk matrix activities that are conducted w/o completed DEEWs or which deviate from approved DEEW permit.
- First point of contact for trade personnel for issue resolution relative to DEEWs.
- Participate in SOP and perform DEEW and Pre-Task Plan audits for compliance to client requirements
- Maintains a working knowledge of direct and indirect impact potential to support systems and fabrication equipment. Knowledge and experience with multiple construction industry trades and practices is a must.
Minimum Requirements & Expectations: - Education/ Experience
- 2-year technical degree (construction, mechanical) and minimum 7 years related journeyman level industrial electrical experience. Or additional years of experience in lieu of formal education.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of/experience with multiple construction crafts / trades practices.
- Semiconductor manufacturing facilities construction / renovation experience.
- In-depth knowledge of specific discipline construction specifications and installation procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA SAFETY Rules and Regulations (NFPA 70).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
