Rate Group: $34.71 - $48.06 dependent on level
Shift Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm.
Please Note: The successful candidate may be required to change rotations throughout the apprenticeship period to support training & development.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS / ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provides support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements (optimization) to ensure quality and efficiency
- Establish and follow-up project implementation, including timing, concept, feasibility design, specifications, construction and commissioning, as required
- Provides support in testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic components
- Maintains and upgrades PLC software
- Analyze records, charts and all documentation required for maintenance records, projects and departments
- Prepares drawing material specifications to requisitions required by vendors or other departments
- Develops controls drawings and design concepts
- Deals with various venders; both supplier and equipment suppliers
- Responds to all maintenance requirements within the department
- Participate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organization
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving results
- Ensures that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
- Knows and understands process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to this job function
- Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies
- Adheres to Conestoga Meat's core values
- Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated and verifiable experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset
- Working Knowledge (oral/written) of both English and Mathematics
- Working knowledge of Safety Standards of Equipment
- PLC Programming and troubleshooting experience; Allen Bradley
- Ability to work in various locations within and outside the plant
- Good attention to detail, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and multiple demands
- Ability to uphold confidentiality
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
- Ability to work independently and without supervision

Working Location: 313 Menno St, Breslau, Ontario, NOB 1M0.Candidates will need to find their own transportation.
