EHR Portfolio ManagerFull Time Overview: A leading healthcare organization is seeking an
EHR Portfolio Manager to oversee the coordination, governance, and strategic alignment of enterprise EHR initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the EHR project and program portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and supporting executive decision-making through reporting, planning, and governance frameworks. The position partners closely with IT leadership, clinical stakeholders, and project teams to drive portfolio maturity and transparency.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain a multi-year EHR portfolio roadmap aligned to organizational strategy
- Track and report on EHR projects, programs, budgets, dependencies, and resource utilization
- Support intake, prioritization, and governance of EHR initiatives
- Develop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and portfolio summaries
- Facilitate portfolio, governance, and leadership meetings
- Ensure adherence to IT PMO standards, workflows, and reporting requirements
- Support continuous improvement of portfolio management tools and processes
- Mentor project managers and team leads on portfolio and project management best practices
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and business stakeholders to align expectations and outcomes
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project or portfolio management within IT or healthcare environments
- Strong experience with portfolio planning, governance, reporting, and financial management
- Familiarity with PPM tools and service management platforms
- Knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Healthcare IT and EHR experience strongly preferred
