JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for developing the overall education plan as well as facilitating education of facility staff. Serve as the facility's Infection Preventionist, overseeing and monitoring the facility's infection prevention plan and initiatives.

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
AD degree in nursing required. BS degree preferred.
Completion of Infection Preventionist Certificate (can be completed upon hire)

EXPERIENCE:
Effective communicator and team player.
Minimum of two years nursing experience in skilled nursing or health care.
Previous experience as an educator and/or infection control nurse.
Previous management experience preferred with a demonstrated record of success.
