Job Description:
Design, Develop, Validate and release of Electronic Control Units for all North America vehicle lines in conjunction with supplier and other areas within the company.
Development and revision of DFMEA's, DVP&R's. Support problem resolution and vehicle builds in multiple corporate locations including assembly plants and proving grounds.
Monitor and resolve all open GIMs and Warranty issues for the components responsible for development.
Create documentation to release parts changes per the Client SWX development process and ensure a smooth fully validated implementation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development and release of ECU components.
Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve technical issues utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Best Practices and Documentation: Create, implement, and manage engineering best practices, including the development and maintenance of core DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DVP (Design Verification Plan) documents related to driveline systems.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve designs, processes, and products through innovative solutions and best practices.
Mentoring: Mentor and provide technical direction to other engineers.
Total Warranty Cost Reduction: Identify areas of improvement to reduce total warranty costs and propose technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
