Full Job Description
Position Overview: This position supports the Marine Corps Installations Command MCICOM G-5 Planning Support as a Defense Readiness Review System (DRRS) Analyst. The DRRS Program provides MCICOM with the program management framework, data, and systems to understand and communicate regional and installation readiness levels. The DRRS Analyst provides program management and analytical support to the MCICOM DRRS Program to develop, track, and communicate readiness across the enterprise.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: Pentagon / Contractor Facility (Washington, D.C. area)

Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required

Anticipated Start Date: Upon Contract Award

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work to complete and obtain MCICOM leadership and CD&I approval for revised Mission Essential Tasks (METs) and Mission Essential Task List (METL) based on current guidance.
  • Work with HQ, regional, and installation staff to develop and coordinate measures addressing equipment and personnel for revised METs and METLs.
  • Update policies, guidebooks, and develop/provide training for revised DRRS approaches, obtaining required approvals for use in DRRS system.
  • Develop timelines, communications, and briefs, and record meeting notes and required follow-up actions for all aspects of MCICOM's quarterly DRRS reporting, including briefs to MCICOM leadership.
  • Develop readiness briefs for AC/S G-3/5, Regional Commanders, O-6 Readiness Board, Executive Readiness Board, Quarterly Readiness Board, and Institutional Readiness Board.
  • Input MCICOM DRRS reports to PP&O with required reviews and help ensure timely input by MCICOM regions.
  • Work with HQ Program leads and MCICOM PPBE planning/programming efforts to align DRRS issues with other Command reporting efforts.
  • Work with COLS performance data to provide details on DRRS issues.
  • Track issues and areas for leadership advocacy; prepare for quarterly Working Group (WG), O-6, Exec, and Commandant Institutional Readiness Working Groups.
  • Develop and refine readiness briefs and facilitate their presentation.
  • Develop and contribute to the readiness cycle meeting products.


Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • 2+ years of previous experience working directly with the Defense Readiness Review System (DRRS).
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps or DoD readiness reporting processes (COLS, METs, METLs).
  • Experience developing and briefing executive-level readiness products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Word).
  • Prior military experience preferred.
