Job Summary:As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff. You will ensure that the nursing department is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Your duties will include:
- Developing, implementing, and updating department policies and procedures
- Providing counseling and disciplinary action to subordinate staff members as needed
- Maintaining the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents and interacting with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect, and promotes a caring environment
- Assuring established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained at all times
- Communicating and interacting effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors

Education, Licensure, and Experience:- Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Required: DON experience a must
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or related field
- Preferred: 3 years R.N. experience
