Our law group is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You'll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. If you are passionate about helping people navigate some of the most difficult challenges they may face in their lives, start your application today Responsibilities • Manage an assigned caseload from intake and pleadings through mediation, hearing, trial, and final judgment. • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and proposed orders. • Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials throughout Florida as assigned. • Maintain timely client communication and clear documentation in the case-management system. • Direct paralegal work, calendar deadlines, and collaborate with the legal team on case strategy. • Meet ethical, quality, productivity, and client-service standards. Qualifications • Active, unrestricted membership in The Florida Bar. • Family-law litigation experience in Florida. • Strong legal writing, negotiation, courtroom, and client-management skills. • Ability to manage competing deadlines and a full caseload. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for proceedings when required.
