Role summary:
Join Walmart as a Distinguished Software Engineer, leading the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered systems that drive operational excellence and innovation. This role requires translating strategic objectives into robust technical solutions while ensuring architectural integrity and reliability. You will champion best practices across the software development lifecycle, mentor engineering teams, and foster continuous improvement. Collaborating across functions, you will address complex challenges, optimize system performance, and uphold high standards of quality and security to deliver impactful technology solutions aligned with business goals.

What you'll do:
  • Lead design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Translate domain strategies into system-level implementations, ensuring architectural integrity and operational excellence.
  • Champion engineering and operations excellence practices to maintain resilient, observable, and performant services.
  • Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and drive strategic architectural decisions across teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
