Full Job Description

Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Director, Women's Services, you will oversee all aspects of the women's health service line.Every day you will lead staffing, budgeting, quality, strategic planning, and patient/physician satisfaction. Reporting to the AVP/CNO, you will support leadership by identifying market opportunities, developing business plans, implementing new ventures, and marketing to stakeholders. You will also manage financial funding, departmental budget, and directly handle the planning, development, implementation, and administration of operational and technical aspects of the service area.To be successful in this role, you will effectively manage comprehensive women's health services, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Facilitates staff to assume leadership roles, both formally and informally, via role modeling.
Demonstrates positive leadership skills and communication that embrace change, which results in achievement of outcomes.
Articulates departmental goals and objectives that lead to active staff participation in clinical decision-making affecting practice.
Services as the management representative for Maternal Child services in fostering physician and patient relationships that creates trust and respect amongst the patients, physicians, and staff
Ensures that appropriate equipment and supplies are available to provide effective and efficient nursing care.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced, physician partnered community hospital environment that requires constant reprioritization of tasks and resources.
