Job Summary
The Director of Warehouse Strategy drives the enterprise roadmap for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), warehouse profiling, slotting optimization, and execution capabilities across the distribution network. This role serves as the subject matter authority bridging technology, automation, data, and operational design to boost throughput, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Owns the enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS) strategic roadmap, leading the prioritization, modernization, and configuration of system enhancements to ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and inventory accuracy .
Designs future-state warehouse operational workflows-including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping-to standardize processes across network facilities, new building startups, and expansions .
Leads cross-functional project teams and strategic initiatives across Distribution Center leadership, Engineering, Technology, and Finance to influence enterprise-wide supply chain priorities..
Evaluates emerging warehouse automation, robotics, and advanced software solutions to determine operational viability and align investments with overall WMS architecture.
Coordinates vendor negotiations with vendors. Negotiates price changes with major vendors.
Builds comprehensive business cases, ROI models, and capability frameworks that support capital investments in supply chain technologies and warehouse optimization .
Establishes robust system governance, testing protocols, and change management standards for continuous WMS upgrades and seamless multi-site deployments .
Monitors critical warehouse KPIs and operational data-such as labor utilization, inventory accuracy, pick efficiency, and throughput-delivering actionable insights and executive dashboards to senior leadership.

Education and Experience
