The Director, US Regional Marketing is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving growth and business performance across the ENT and Instruments portfolios. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role develops and executes integrated commercial and marketing strategies that accelerate core growth, ensure successful product launches, and strengthen competitive positioning across capital equipment and disposable product segments.
As a key cross-functional leader, the Director aligns Sales, Global Strategic Marketing, Commercial Operations, Professional Education, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, and Health Economics & Outcomes Research teams to drive market development, surgeon engagement, and commercial execution across the US market.
This role leads a team of portfolio marketers responsible for business planning, commercial activation, new product launches, competitive capital and service offerings, and growth initiatives. The Director also shapes sales training, professional education, market development, and professional society engagement strategies to maximize commercial impact and deliver sustained business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Commercial Strategy & Business Leadership- Develop and execute the U.S. commercial marketing strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives including leadership of forecasting, business planning, and performance review processes for assigned portfolios.
- Create annual and multi-year commercial plans to accelerate market share growth and profitability.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging customer needs to inform business strategy, enhance sales team performance and inform senior leadership on key market trends.
Product Commercialization & Launch Excellence- Lead commercialization strategies for new product introductions and portfolio expansions
- Drive product positioning, segmentation, value proposition development, and messaging.
- Ensure successful launch readiness through sales training, demand generation, customer engagement programs, and market activation plans.
Customer & Market Engagement- Establish deep understanding of key purchasing decision makers, including physicians, healthcare executives, clinicians, procurement stakeholders, and IDNs.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), societies, advocacy groups, and strategic customers.
- Oversee society meeting strategy, customer events, workshops, advisory boards, and digital marketing initiatives.
Sales Partnership & Revenue Growth- Partner closely with sales leadership to develop commercial programs that drive pipeline, utilization, and account growth including support of contracting, pricing, and market access initiatives as appropriate.
- Deliver impactful sales tools, customer-facing materials, and value-based selling resources.
- Monitor market performance and adjust marketing investments to maximize ROI.
Analytics & Performance Optimization- Drive data-based decision-making across the commercial organization, including establishing KPIs and dashboards to measure commercial effectiveness.
- Leverage market analytics, customer insights, and CRM data to optimize campaign performance.
- Evaluate marketing ROI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Development- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial marketing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Coach and mentor team members while establishing clear performance expectations.
- Manage agency relationships and external partners.
Compliance & Quality- Ensure all marketing activities comply with FDA regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, Quality, and Clinical teams to ensure promotional compliance.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all commercial activities.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience- 15+ years of total work experience, 10+ years of progressive marketing experience within the medical device, life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success leading U.S. commercial marketing strategies for medical device products.
- Experience launching new products and driving adoption in complex healthcare markets.
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, market share gains, and commercial excellence.
- Experience partnering with field sales organizations and executive leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare provider purchasing processes, hospital economics, and value-based healthcare.
- Experience working with physicians, hospital administrators, procurement stakeholders, and healthcare systems.
- Understanding of medical device commercialization, reimbursement, market access dynamics and FDA promotional requirements and healthcare compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications- Marketing experience in complex medical device markets (ENT, neurosurgery, neurovascular, surgical, orthopedic, imaging, etc.).
- Experience in both upstream and downstream marketing environments.
- Prior sales experience.
- Prior P&L responsibility or significant commercial budget management experience.
- Experience working within a matrix organization.
- Experience supporting IDNs, GPOs, integrated delivery networks, and large health systems.
Additional Requirements- Strong computer skills are required, including skills with MS PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI and AI platforms/agents.
- Anticipated average travel requirement is approximately 20-30%.
- Perform other duties as required.
Salary Pay Range:
$166,750.00 - $228,850.00 USD Salary
