- Build partnerships across sectors: Establish committees and communities of practice, engage internal and external partners, and connect regional and provincial teams to address system barriers, resource needs and accountability gaps.
- Advance integration and innovation: Represent the portfolio on regional committees and other collaborative bodies, champion best practices and integrated care models, and recommend program improvements and funding allocation priorities informed by emerging health system issues.
- Lead people and operations: Guide and manage staff, oversee day-to-day program operations, and ensure work follows accepted best practices, government and ministry directives, and regional policies and procedures.
- Deliver measurable results: Establish regional goals and implement initiatives to achieve them. Monitor, evaluate, and report on activities against performance objectives set by the CRO.
