Full Job Description
The Director - System Applications is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling Aspirus' Information Technology enterprise application functions and the activities of personnel engaged in the provision of such services.

This position is required to be onsite at corporate headquarters in Wausau 5 days per week with occasional travel to other Aspirus locations.

Experience/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare IT is standard, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Preferred to have demonstrated experience and proficiency with EMR (Epic preferred), ERP, Imaging, CRM, Automation and AI solutions.
  • Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned subordinates.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with a team environment. Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial.
