Reach Beyond at PALFINGER as our Director, Spare Parts, based in Huntley, IL, where you will lead the operational strategy and performance of our North American spare parts business across multiple product lines and distribution centers. In this highly visible leadership role, you will be accountable for parts availability, inventory strategy, pricing, distribution, customer satisfaction, and profitability while driving profitable growth of our aftermarket business. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, dealers, and customers, you will develop and execute strategies that maximize equipment uptime and deliver industry-leading service levels. As part of a global, matrixed organization, you will collaborate closely with international counterparts to advance strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
Your Responsibilities- Lead and execute the North American spare parts strategy, establishing business plans, budgets, and performance targets aligned with company growth objectives.
- Oversee inventory strategy and supply chain performance, balancing service levels, inventory investment, forecasting accuracy, and parts availability across the network.
- Direct spare parts distribution operations across multiple locations, driving operational excellence, productivity improvements, quality standards, and cost optimization.
- Partner with dealers, service organizations, and customers to enhance parts availability, improve customer experience, and support aftermarket solutions.
- Build and develop a high-performing organization while leading digital transformation initiatives that leverage SAP, analytics, automation, and inventory management technologies.

Your Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in aftermarket, service parts, supply chain, distribution, or heavy equipment operations.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-site or national supply chain and distribution operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory investments, pricing strategies, and business performance metrics.
- Proven success leading inventory optimization, distribution network strategies, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and dealer-supported business models.
